IFHV welcomes DAAD Visiting Professor Shaelou

This summer semester 2024, we welcome Stéphanie Laulhé Shaelou from UCLan Cyprus as a DAAD Visiting Professor, who will take on teaching duties at the Center for International Affairs at the Faculty of Law at Ruhr University Bochum.

nullStéphanie Laulhé Shaelou is Professor of European Law and Reform, Head of the School of Law and University Chair for Research and Innovation at the University of Central Lancashire in Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus). Visiting Professor on the Rule of Law at the United Nations Institute on Training and Research (UNITAR), she is also the Director of the EU funded Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence for the Rule of Law and European Values (CRoLEV) at UCLan Cyprus, measuring/monitoring/reporting on rule of law, values and democratic indicators in Cyprus and Europe (2022-25).

Research Lecture

Professor Shaelou, will be giving a research lecture on the "Rule of Law and European Values in Troubled Times", taking place on Wednesday, 29 May 2024, 10 AM, in the Dekanatssitzungszimmer (GD building) of the law faculty, on campus.
